It’s Cold in January ; Today January 8th , 2024

The weather is pretty cold for California today , I heard through the internet that weather is coming from Alaska as it does sometimes and being we are tilted away from the Sun and away from it more in Winter. It is colder then you want . (Correction on that below

The real reason for the cold in the season is the tilt away from the Sun, surprisingly to me and maybe you, the Earth is Furthest away from the Sun in the Summer not the Winter.
